The 2008 Wrangler is a 2-door, 4-passenger sport-utility, available in 3 trims, ranging from the X to the Rubicon. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 202-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2008 Wrangler is a carryover from 2007.
